MKYC are currently looking for extra singers

The Milton Keynes Youth Choir is delighted to announce that we are looking for young people (8-18) who would like to join a friendly higher range choir.

We rehearse on Tuesday’s 17.45 at Christ Church, Stantonbury Campus. Please contact the choir at chair@mkyc.org.uk.

Every year we have to say goodbye to our older singers as they head off into the world (many have been with us for 10 years and carry on singing with adult choir across the country). This means we are currently auditioning for new singers to join our group.

Whether you have previous choir experience or are simply eager to improve your singing voice, we welcome applications from all young people who are enthusiastic about singing.
Our auditions are slightly different from other choirs, there isn’t a one-time yes or no response. We let singers join in the rehearsals for a few weeks to see how they like the choir, and also guage how well they can cope with the music. After three to four weeks, we feedback and let them know whether they are able to join.
