Our annual Christmas concert with guest performers MK Music Centre String Orchestra.  There was a raffle and refreshments and plenty of Christmas music.

The choir participated in Scratch Youth Messiah with hundreds of other children from around the country and rehearsed with other young singers in the Milton Keynes area (co-ordinated by MK Music Centre) who also took part.

The choir is participating in Scratch Youth Messiah with hundreds of other children from around the country and rehearsing with other young singers in the Milton Keynes area (co-ordinated by MK Music Centre) who are also taking part.

MK Youth Choir End of Summer Term concert

11th July at 7-7:45pm (6:45 pm for a drink and cake before the concert)
Come and enjoy an informal concert to celebrate the end of term.
Anyone interested in joining the choir may come and observe the rehearsal from 6pm.
As well as a celebration, this is a send-off for the singers who leave the choir this year, either because they are moving on with their education or moving away.
We will also be bidding farewell to several parents who have provided enormous support to the choir.
The choir will be singing some new music as well as favourites from the year.
We hope to welcome many friends and parents to this concert as well as potential new choir members.

Come and hear Polymnia and the Milton Keynes Youth Choir celebrating Milton Keynes' 50th anniversary. They will be joining together to sing many modern choral favourites, from Howard Goodall's Psalm 23 and Karl Jenkins' Adiemus to music by Rutter and Debussey, medleys of well known and loved popular songs, and excerpts from the classical musical Les Miserables.
